It's been quite awhile since I signed on a said a few words. I'm still unemployed but fill by days with yard work, housework and generally wasting away the day. No Regrets! I was in Northern California for three weeks while my Mother was in the hospital for cancer surgery. The surgeons say they got it all. But, the recuperation is slow going. She was in a rehabilation home for 2 weeks and is now home getting along with the drop in nursing care. I'll be going up again to help out in the next few weeks.
While up there, my sisters and I got to the lake a couple of days for some kayaking, swimming, and general nature watching. We saw deer, bald eagles, geese, ducks and just about every other mammal in Northeral California.
I'm thankful for all the love and support of my family and friends. Hopefully, the rest of the summer will bring good fortune.
