Just Another Lazy Friday ............

Jeez, I couldn't sleep past 6 a.m. so I got up and started laundry. Got my yoga workout done early too. It's a beautiful day out. The yard is full of my birdy friends and I'm about to fix my lunch.

It's really busy just being a housewife. Between cleaning, laundry, yard work, shopping & cooking, I manage to keep going. I even think I don't need my blood pressure pills anymore. Or the nutty pills either. Love not going to work everyday.

My next project is to paint the back workroom. I've got paint samples and have decided on a light yellow with blue & green accents.

In June, I hope to spend the time up at the ranch with my mother and sisters, brother, nieces & nephews and whomever else turns up. I know Mom has the paint for me to do her bedroom and I'm sure there's lots of other projects to catch up on up there. I can't wait :)

I'm hoping to get the bike rack attached to my Yukon this week and than I can go exploring the bike trails in San Diego County. It will also be nice to take it to the ranch and ride around there too.

Bald Eaglet Banding

Today, biologists are banding two of the eaglets from the Norfolk Botanical Gardens nest. The third chick is going to have a transmitter attached. What a cool live feed to watch. If you get a chance, check it out at the site: www.wvec.com/

Of course, since it is east coast, I had to get up at 6:30 a.m. to watch the proceedings. First time up this early for a while.
